JOB DETAILS
One of our clients, a reputed hospital based in Mumbai is looking out for a Medical Superintendent. The job responsibilities are as follows:
1. Set short and long term objectives for the team towards planned targets.
2. Recommend policies that meet the needs of Hospital.
3. To ensure the Hospital complies with local, state laws and regulations w.r.t Medical compliances
4. Develop operational strategies to ensure excellence and patient's satisfaction .
5. Develop resource strategies for profitability and cost control
6. Have a preventive maintenance schedule of all equipment and physical assets.
7. Assist in renovation/up gradation plans.
8. Update organization structure to meet hospital needs.
9. Build healthy, effective relationship between line and staff functions.
10. Develop a well-motivated and trained team so as to ensure excellence in service.
11. Develop and encourage new ideas of innovation for competitiveness.
12. Bring about continuous organization change and development to keep it contemporary and market effective.
13. To ensure that health checkup camps both inside and outside the hospital are organized by the concerned staff.
14. Oversee renovation work to ensure that there is no patient's inconvenience.
15. Receiving periodic feedback from various departments.
16. Contracts and liaison of medical and non-medical nature with outside agencies including repair and maintenance of diagnostic and other equipment s, ward administration and cleanliness.
17. Making alternative arrangements for allocation of duties of consultants on leave.
18. Meetings with Nursing Staff and other para-medical staff to discuss measures for improvement of patient care and other related matters.
