Maintenance Electrician

We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Electrician to join our team in Aurangabad. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance, preferably in the steel or manufacturing industry.

Roles and Responsibility

• Conduct routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting of all electrical systems, panels, and machines.
• Repair and maintain motors, control panels, circuit breakers, wiring, sensors, limit switches, and PLC-based systems.
• Ensure timely resolution of breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
• Monitor load distribution, energy consumption, and power factor across the plant.
• Maintain and update logbooks for electrical equipment and maintenance activities.
• Assist in the installation and commissioning of new machinery and upgrades.
• Perform safety checks and adhere to all electrical safety standards (PPE usage, lockout/Ragout procedures, etc.).
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for electrical requirements and maintain inventory of electrical spares, raising requisitions for required materials.
• Support the maintenance of DG sets, transformers, HT panels, and lighting systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory electrical regulations and company policies.

Job Requirements

• ITI (Electrician) / Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2-5 years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of single-phase and three-phase systems.
• Familiarity with VFDs, PLC panels, and motor control circuits.
• Ability to read electrical diagrams and troubleshoot circuits.
• Quick problem-solving skills under pressure.
• Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Willingness to work in shifts, weekends, or emergencies.
• Basic understanding of mechanical maintenance is a plus.
• Must be physically fit to handle electrical tools and machinery.
• Should maintain discipline, cleanliness, and work ethics.
• Willingness to learn new systems (like Zoho desk for breakdown ticketing).
• Should follow all company SOPs and reporting protocols.
