Job Description
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to, confirm your Job Descriptions with the Interviewer:
- Installation : Install electrical systems, components, and equipment following electrical codes, blueprints, and schematics.
- Maintenance : Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems and equipment, identifying and addressing potential issues before they cause breakdowns.
- Repairs : Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions, using appropriate testing devices and tools to ensure systems are restored to full functionality.
- Upgrades : Upgrade electrical systems and components to improve efficiency and safety.
- Safety Compliance : Ensure all electrical work complies with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Education : High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an electrical apprenticeship program or technical school preferred.
- Licensure : Valid electrician s license or certification is a plus,not required.
- Experience : Minimum of 2 years of experience as an electrician, preferably in a maintenance role.
Working Conditions:
- Environment : Industrial, commercial, or residential settings, including exposure to various weather conditions and potentially hazardous environments.
- Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and work in confined spaces; ability to lift and carry heavy objects; dexterity to handle electrical tools and components.
