Job Description: Developer – Mainframe
Role Overview
We are looking for an AMS Analyst / Developer to support, maintain, enhance, and troubleshoot business-critical legacy applications across Mainframe platforms. The role requires hands-on experience in COBOL, DB2, CICS, SUPRA, VSAM, JCL, , with strong production support, incident resolution, and enhancement delivery capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Provide AMS support, maintenance, and minor enhancements for Mainframe applications.
Analyze incidents, service requests, problem tickets, and change requests; perform root cause analysis and implement fixes.
Develop, modify, test, and debug COBOL programs using DB2, CICS, SUPRA, VSAM, and JCL.
Support batch and online processing, including job monitoring, abend resolution, file issues, database errors, and CICS transaction problems.
Prepare technical documentation, deployment notes, support runbooks, and production support updates.
Work with business users, client stakeholders, QA, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure timely issue resolution and SLA adherence.
