Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain mainframe applications using Cobol programming language.
- Create and execute JCL jobs to process data on IBM mainframes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and implement solutions.
- Troubleshoot issues related to mainframe systems and resolve them efficiently.
- Ensure high-quality deliverables by following coding standards and best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 6-10 years of experience in developing mainframe applications using Cobol programming language.
- Strong understanding of JCL (Job Control Language) for job scheduling and execution on IBM mainframes.
- Experience working with IMS (Information Management System) is an added advantage.
