Minimum Qualifications
MIPS - Mandatory
- 8+ years of experience as a senior software engineer, tech lead in the IBM Z platform
- Hands on experience on Mainframe optimization techniques, performance tuning, modernization and automation.
- Hands on extensive experience in REXX, COBOL, JCL, IMS and DB2.
- Well versed in DevSecOps best practices and experience with cloud technologies.
- Code Review, Solutioning, Mentoring.
- Experience in agile software development and continuous improvement concepts.
- Have knowledge on Python, SMF, DCOLLECT, MIPS consumption on the Mainframe System.
- Strong team management and organization skills; ability to lead, motivate and direct global workgroup.
- Comfortable providing timely, constructive performance feedback to technical and non-technical associates.
- Highly developed verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work up and down the organization, able to influence others to achieve results
Preferred Qualifications:
- DevOps on Z, Mainframe Modernization and Transformation.
- Experience in AI tools e.g. Copilot Analysis, Github
- Ability to work in globally distributed teams and develop multi-level relationships.
- Exposure to diverse portfolio of applications is a plus
