Junior QS Engineer

Role Description:

The Junior QS Engineer will support the Quantity Surveying team in quantity take-off, estimation, costing, BOQ preparation, rate analysis, project billing, and measurement activities. The role involves reviewing drawings and project specifications, maintaining accurate project cost records, tracking quantities and variations, and coordinating with Project, Design, Procurement, and Accounts teams. The candidate will assist senior QS team members in monitoring project costs, preparing client and subcontractor bills, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of QS-related activities.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying.
• 23 years of experience in Quantity Surveying, Estimation, or Project Billing.
• Basic knowledge of BOQ preparation, quantity take-off, and rate analysis.
• Ability to read and understand civil/architectural drawings.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel and basic estimation software/tools.
• Good numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills with project and internal teams.
• Willingness to travel to project sites when required and learn project costing & QS processes.
