Junior Officer

Responsible for operating plant and equipment in safe, productive and efficient manner to maximize plant performance and achieve production target. Diploma in Mechanical or Chemical engineering with 1 to 3 years of work experience in relevant field Essential Responsibilities Adhere to plant operational procedures for production goal achievement and handle work safety. Carry out fault finding to detect and repair any machinery faults on equipment or instrumentation. Assist in producing the maintenance schedule for machinery and equipment Supervise external contractors and internal workers as required. Carry out all work within the agreed budgetary and time limits. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with company safety rules and health and safety legislation. Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with relevant environmental standards. Proper Servicing of all the machinery equipment. Giving training to the lower grade fitter for their training needs. Gain awareness of system operating requirements and trends and suggest operating adjustment suggestions. Insure all equipments in operating normally. Note any existing problems and take appropriate corrective action. Properly inform the supervisor of any unexplained changes in one or more plant process variable or instrument readings and report any equipment malfunction or other occurrences that may affect the safety reliability. Complete, update and maintain all log reports. Reply to production flour request and machinery stoppage alerts. Oversee control desk consist of 3 HMI Computer screens. Direct utility operations for effecting changes in plant condition. Handle equipment maintenance and tag our as per standard operating process. Assist plant supervisor or mechanic with overhands of equipment.
