Junior Accountant

Ojas Maxivision Eye Hospital is a leading eye care provider committed to delivering exceptional ophthalmic services through advanced technology and a patient-centric approach. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance & Accounts team.

Role & responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounting transactions and bookkeeping.
• Record purchase, sales, receipts, and payment entries in the accounting system.
• Prepare bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable management.
• Process vendor invoices and ensure timely payments.
• Maintain cash and petty cash records.
• Prepare and verify payment vouchers and journal entries.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing activities.
• Support GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance documentation.
• Coordinate with banks, auditors, and internal departments when required.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of financial records.
• Generate MIS reports and other financial reports as required by management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent.
• 13 years of accounting experience (hospital or healthcare experience preferred).
• Good knowledge of Tally ERP/Tally Prime and MS Excel.
• Basic understanding of GST, TDS, and accounting principles.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
