Java + Snowflake Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Software Development:Design and implement Java-based applications for data processing and integration
• Develop and maintain code for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes
• Snowflake Data Warehousing:Utilize Snowflake data warehousing platform for data storage, retrieval, and analytics
• Design and implement Snowflake database objects, such as tables, views, and stored procedures
• Integration and APIs:Integrate Java applications with Snowflake using appropriate APIs and connectors
• Implement RESTful APIs for data access and manipulation
• Database Design and Optimization:Collaborate with database administrators to design and optimize database schema for performance
• Implement indexing, partitioning, and other strategies for efficient data storage and retrieval
• Performance Monitoring and Tuning:Monitor and analyze the performance of Java applications and Snowflake databases
• Implement optimizations and enhancements to improve overall system performance
• Data Security and Compliance:Implement security measures to protect sensitive data in transit and at rest
• Ensure compliance with data governance policies and industry regulations
• Documentation:Create and maintain technical documentation for Java code, Snowflake configurations, and system architecture
• Provide documentation for troubleshooting, deployment, and maintenance procedures
• Collaboration:Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and use cases
• Work closely with the IT and DevOps teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment
