Java ABAP Developer

Key Responsibilities:

• Application Development:Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications for various business functionalities
• Develop and enhance ABAP programs for SAP applications and integration
• Java Development:Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code in Java
• Implement Java solutions for web applications, backend systems, and other software components
• ABAP Development:Design, code, and debug ABAP programs within the SAP environment
• Customize and enhance SAP modules, reports, and interfaces using ABAP
• Integration and Interoperability:Integrate Java applications with SAP systems and other enterprise software
• Ensure seamless data flow and interoperability between Java and ABAP components
• Database Interaction:Work with databases, both relational and SAP HANA, to retrieve and store data efficiently
• Optimize database interactions for performance and scalability
• System Optimization:Identify opportunities for optimization in both Java and ABAP code
• Implement performance improvements and conduct regular code reviews
• Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system architects, and QA engineers, to understand requirements and deliver solutions
• Work closely with SAP functional teams to align ABAP development with business processes
• Documentation:Create and maintain technical documentation for Java and ABAP code
• Document system architecture, data models, and integration points
