Job Description
Core responsibilities
- Design and build data warehouses, data lakes, and data models within Snowflake.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
- Create and manage data pipelines to load data from various sources into Snowflake, using tools like Snowpipe or scripts (e. g. , Python/Java).
- Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and tune queries and configurations for better efficiency.
Required skills and qualifications
- Strong knowledge in Java/Python.
- Strong SQL knowledge.
- Experience with Snowflake and Azure.
- Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling principles.
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and tools.
- Knowledge of data security and compliance.
