About IPAC

IPAC provides semiconductor packaging and assembly services primarily for the electronics industry, catering to sectors such as automotive, medical, and aerospace.

Like a phoenix from the flames...well, nothing ignited, so there were no ashes from which to arise, but i2a Technologies (i2a) typifies the burn and rebirth cycle of a semiconductor design, assembly, and packaging manufacturer. Founded by Victor Batinovich in 1992 as Integrated Packaging Assembly Corp. (IPAC), the company was acquired in 1999 to serve as Orient Semiconductor's US chip packaging arm. Named OSE USA in 2001, its manufacturing unit was scored by a group led by Batinovich in 2003 and renamed IPAC. IPAC joined with Malaysia's Twin Advance and formed i2a in 2005. i2a drives a slate of manufacturing services to semiconductor and electronics industries including consumer, auto, medical, and aerospace.
