Designation: Product Intern — AI Products & Loan Origination System (LOS)
Office Location: Bengaluru (Hybrid)
Position description: Hands-on internship contributing to two high-impact product verticals — AI Products (intelligent features powered by generative AI/ML) and Loan Origination System (BFSI-focused LOS used by banks, NBFCs, and fintech lenders). The intern will work closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Designers, and Business teams from day one.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Define product requirements and user stories for AI-powered features (lead scoring, smart follow-ups, conversation intelligence, generative AI copilots)
- Conduct user research and competitor analysis to identify gaps in the AI product roadmap
- Collaborate with engineering to evaluate LLM/ML model outputs, define prompt strategies, and refine AI response quality
- Support product discovery for LOS modules — application intake, credit bureau integration, decisioning workflows, and disbursement tracking
- Prepare wireframe briefs, workflow diagrams, and user flow documentation with designers
- Work with BFSI customers and internal stakeholders to gather and translate requirements into structured product specs
Additional Responsibilities:
- Document feature specs, edge cases, and acceptance criteria for smooth development cycles
- Track feature adoption post-launch using product analytics tools and surface insights
- Analyze customer feedback and support tickets to identify pain points and prioritize improvements
- Assist in QA and UAT activities before releases
- Maintain product documentation — PRDs, release notes, and internal wikis
- Help run sprint ceremonies and maintain backlogs in Jira
- Prepare presentations and status updates for leadership reviews

Required work experience
- Industry: Not specified (BFSI/fintech exposure is a strong advantage)
- Role: Product Management, Business Analysis, or Software Engineering (prior internship/project experience preferred)
- Years of experience: Fresher / Intern level; prior internship experience good to have
Key Performance Indicators: Feature adoption tracking; quality of PRDs and product specs; UAT/QA contribution; PPO eligibility based on impact delivered
Required Competencies:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability with high attention to detail

Required Knowledge:
- Product management fundamentals (user stories, PRDs, acceptance criteria)
- Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLMs, or generative AI tools — ChatGPT, Copilot, etc. (Good to Have)
- BFSI domain, fintech, or loan product knowledge (Good to Have)
Required Skills:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficiency in Google Slides, Excel, Confluence, or Notion for documentation
- Jira, Figma, or wireframing tools (Good to Have)
Work Environment Details: Bengaluru office; 6-month internship, extendable based on performance; immediate.
