Hvac Design Engineer

Core Responsibilities

• System Design: Design HVAC systems for commercial, residential, or industrial buildings, including heating, cooling, ventilation, and air quality control.
• Engineering Calculations: Perform detailed load calculations and energy analysis to determine system requirements and optimize performance.
• Technical Documentation: Create detailed drawings, schematics, and specifications using CAD software like AutoCAD or Revit.
• Collaboration: Work with architects, structural engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to integrate HVAC systems into the overall building design.
• Compliance and Standards: Ensure all designs adhere to industry standards, building codes, and safety regulations (e.g., ASHRAE, SMACNA).
• Equipment Selection: Evaluate and select appropriate HVAC equipment and materials based on performance, cost, and efficiency.
• Project Support: Provide technical guidance and support during installation, construction, and commissioning phases.
