Accountant

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant to manage end-to-end accounting operations for our manufacturing business. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in GST, TDS, financial reporting, reconciliations, and statutory compliance, along with experience in ERP-based accounting systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain Bank Reconciliation Statements (BRS).
• Perform customer, vendor, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Manage Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP), including ageing analysis.
• Record and verify receipts, payments, sales, and purchase transactions.
• Ensure timely GST and TDS compliance, including payment and return filing.
• Handle Bank Guarantee (BG) and Letter of Credit (LC) documentation.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, including Profit & Loss Account and Balance Sheet up to finalization.
• Coordinate with statutory auditors, internal auditors, banks, and other stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, statutory regulations, and company policies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Generate MIS reports and support management with financial analysis.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of Accounting Principles and Financial Reporting.
• Hands-on experience in GST, TDS, and statutory compliance.
• Expertise in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and Ledger Management.
• Experience in Bank Reconciliation and Financial Closing.
• Good understanding of BG and LC documentation.
• Proficiency in MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Basic Formulas).
• Experience working with ERP/Accounting Software (SAP, Tally Prime, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce (B.Com); M.Com/CA Inter/CMA Inter is an added advantage.
• 5 - 8 years of accounting experience.
• Mandatory experience in the Manufacturing Industry.
• Experience handling end-to-end accounting independently.
• Candidates based in Bangalore or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
• Immediate joiners or candidates with short notice periods will be preferred.
