Technical Lead
Level : L3
Role Overview:
The Lead will oversee the technical direction of projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and guiding the team through complex challenges.
We are looking for a senior full-stack engineer with cloud infrastructure experience to provide technical leadership on an active product team. The role involves guiding architecture decisions, reviewing agent-generated code, and ensuring quality and consistency across a fast-moving codebase.
Core skills required:
- Go or similar backend services, REST API design, middleware, testing
- Vue 3 / TypeScript or similar component architecture, Pinia, type-safe API integration
- AWS — ECS Fargate, Aurora PostgreSQL, CloudFront, S3, SES, Route 53
- Terraform — IaC authorship and review, multi-account AWS environments
- CI/CD — GitHub Actions, automated deployment pipelines, migration safety
- Testing — unit, integration, and Playwright E2E; test quality review
- Microsoft Teams / Azure — experience leveraging Teams channels and the Microsoft 365 / Azure ecosystem to surface and combine data from
across the business; we make heavy use of channels as a communication and data integration layer
What makes this role different:
A significant portion of implementation work is produced by AI coding agents (Claude Code). The senior lead's primary responsibility is not
to write every line of code — it is to define clear specs, review agent output critically, catch architectural drift, and maintain
engineering standards. Comfort directing and evaluating AI-assisted development is essential.
Nice to have:
- Experience in edtech or assessment platforms
- Familiarity with Jira Cloud REST API integration
- Background working within enterprise environments (governance, ticketing, network request processes)
