Generalist Intern - E-Commerce, Marketing & Operations

Role & responsibilities

Soho Tiger is a modern D2C silver jewellery brand based in Secunderabad. We run a retail store and are scaling our online catalogue. The team is small, so what you do lands in the business the same week you do it.

This is a short-term, fixed-duration generalist role. You will work across the business rather than sit in one function. The largest share of your time goes to e-commerce, and the rest is spread across marketing and day-to-day operations. To be clear upfront: this is a fixed-term engagement, not a pre-placement or full-time track.

E-Commerce (where most of your time goes)

• Process product images: AI background removal, resizing, and WebP conversion
• Create and maintain product listings on Shopify
• Quality-check every image and listing before it goes live - background, framing, product accuracy
• Maintain the product tracker in Google Sheets: status columns, folder links, daily counts
• Coordinate corrections and re-work with the team, and keep the tracker accurate

Marketing

• Support social media and campaign execution
• Assist with product shoots and creative coordination
• Help put together content, decks and collateral as needed

Operations

• Support store and back-office operations
• Help with vendor and team coordination
• Pick up whatever the week needs - the work genuinely varies

Preferred candidate profile

• Any graduate or final-year student - all streams welcome
• Comfortable with Google Sheets or Excel
• Detail-oriented. A lot of this role is catching small mistakes before a customer does
• Willing to switch between very different tasks in the same day without losing the thread
• Happy to do unglamorous work well - in a small team, someone has to, and that person learns the most
• Willing to learn tools quickly: Shopify, Canva, AI image tools. No prior experience needed, we will train you
• Available full time, working from our Secunderabad office, 6 days a week
