Finance Officer

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Manage day-to-day accounting activities including payables, receivables, journal entries and book closures.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities as per internal timelines.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of ledgers, schedules and financial records.
• Assist in preparation of MIS reports, variance analysis, and internal financial dashboards.

Financial Reporting & Compliance

• Support preparation of statutory and regulatory reports as per IFSCA, IRDAI and Companies Act requirements.
• Assist in coordinating with statutory, tax and internal auditors for timely audit completion.
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls and assist in strengthening control frameworks.
• Maintain documentation for compliance, audit trails and policy adherence.

Reconciliations & Controls

• Perform regular bank, vendor, intercompany and general ledger reconciliations.
• Track ageing reports and highlight discrepancies or delays.
• Assist in monitoring budget vs. actuals, cost controls, and expense tracking.

Treasury & Payments

• Coordinate vendor payments, employee reimbursements and operational payouts.
• Monitor cash flows, fund requirements and support treasury operations.
• Ensure compliance with internal approval mechanisms and payment policies.

Regulatory & Operational Support

• Stay updated with financial regulations applicable to IFSC entities.
• Prepare data for regulatory submissions, inspections and queries.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams for invoice processing, vendor onboarding and financial clarifications.

Stakeholder Coordination

• Work closely with internal finance teams, auditors, consultants and business teams.
• Support management with data requests, analytical insights and financial summaries.
