Job Description
- Conduct thorough medical examinations and evaluations of patients with ear, nose, throat, head, and neck symptoms.
- Accurately diagnose and treat a wide range of ENT disorders and conditions, including sinusitis, tonsillitis, hearing loss, nasal polyps, voice disorders, and sleep apnea.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as audiograms, CT scans, and laryngoscopies to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Develop personalized treatment plans for patients using both medical and surgical interventions.
- Perform surgical procedures related to the head and neck, such as tonsillectomies, adenoidectomies, septoplasties, endoscopic sinus surgeries, and thyroidectomies.
- Prescribe medications, therapies, and other treatments, ensuring patient compliance and providing necessary education and instructions.
- Provide counseling and education to patients and their families regarding their condition, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other medical specialists, such as audiologists, speech therapists, and oncologists, for comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, documenting assessments, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up care.
- Stay informed about advancements in ENT practices, research, and technologies, and apply evidence-based medicine in clinical decision-making.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, conferences, and professional development activities to enhance knowledge and skills.
Job Requirements
- MBBS MD DNB degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in ENT specialist doctor roles.
- Possess strong knowledge of ENT disorders and conditions, including diagnosis and treatment planning.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and counseling skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment is essential.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
