Engineer/Senior Engineer-QS Billing

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Prepare and verify Client RA Bills, Subcontractor Bills, Final Bills, and Running Account Bills as per approved BOQ, drawings, specifications, and actual site measurements.
• Carry out Quantity Take-Off (QTO) from approved drawings and project documents.
• Verify quantities executed at site and conduct joint measurements with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Prepare and maintain Measurement Sheets, Abstract Sheets, Billing Statements, and Quantity Reconciliation Reports.
• Monitor planned quantities vs. executed quantities vs. billed quantities and identify billing gaps.
• Review approved drawings, BOQ, specifications, and contract documents to ensure accurate billing.
• Prepare rate analysis for extra items, non-BOQ items, and variation works.
• Identify and prepare documentation for variations, change orders, and additional claims, wherever applicable.
• Verify subcontractor work quantities and support timely certification of their bills.
• Coordinate with Site Execution, Planning, Procurement, Finance, Contracts, and Project teams for billing-related requirements.
• Track the status of submitted client bills and coordinate for timely certification and approval.
• Maintain records of certified quantities, approved rates, deductions, recoveries, and payment status.
• Support preparation of monthly billing plans, cash flow projections, and commercial MIS.
• Monitor quantity reconciliation for major construction materials such as cement, steel, concrete, blocks, and finishing materials, as applicable.
• Ensure proper documentation and supporting records for all billing and commercial transactions.
• Assist in preparation and reconciliation of final bills and project closure documentation.

Desired Candidate Profile:

For Engineer QS & Billing

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and Billing.
• Experience in Residential, Commercial, or Building Construction projects.
• Good knowledge of BOQ, QTO, RA Billing, and Quantity Reconciliation.
• Ability to understand construction drawings and specifications.

For Senior Engineer – QS & Billing

• 5–8 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying and Billing.
• Experience in independently handling Client Billing and Subcontractor Billing for large-scale Building/High-Rise projects.
• Strong knowledge of Rate Analysis, Variations, Claims, and Final Billing.
• Ability to coordinate with clients, consultants, and internal project stakeholders.
