Overview

Roles Responsibilities
- Develop detailed electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, wiring diagrams, and schematics for substations.
- Create general arrangement (GA) layouts, panel layouts, and cable routing diagrams.
- Prepare earthing and lightning protection system layouts.
- Work closely with electrical engineers to ensure designs meet technical and functional specifications.
- Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and other stakeholders to incorporate revisions.
- Ensure designs adhere to relevant industry standards (e.g., IEC, IEEE, and local regulations).
- Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Maintain and update project documentation, including revisions and as-built drawings.
- Prepare bill of materials (BOM) based on the drawings.
- Utilize computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, or equivalent.
- Work with electrical design tools for substation modeling.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in drawings or technical documentation.
- Support troubleshooting by providing accurate design details.
