Electrical Draftsman Overhead Transmission Engineering

• Basic computer-aided drafting methods and techniques; proficiency in AutoCAD and MicroStation preferred.

• Ability to create simple drawings such as electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and physical (bus, conduit, grounding, and steel) details from redlines provided by an engineer.

• Ability to modify existing drawings, including general arrangement plans and elevations, based on redlines provided by an engineer.

• Ability to recognize and use drafting standards (fonts, line styles, symbols, layering).

• Should have experience in overhead lines transmission drafting.

• Should have good communication skills.
