Job Title: Draftsman DG Set Electrical Work
Job Location: Mumbai
Role Objective Prepare and manage detailed technical drawings for DG sets, electrical systems, and piping layouts. Support project execution by providing accurate 2D/3D drawings and ensuring alignment with site requirements and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities - Develop and maintain 2D/3D drawings for DG sets, electrical systems, and piping layouts.
- Interpret engineering specifications and convert them into detailed CAD drawings.
- Collaborate with project engineers and site teams to ensure practical feasibility of designs.
- Incorporate site-level modifications and provide updated drawings during execution.
- Ensure compliance with IEC/IS standards and project requirements.
- Support installation teams with accurate drawings for DG sets, exhaust systems, fuel piping, and electrical layouts.
- Maintain drawing records, revisions, and documentation for project handover.
- Provide technical inputs during client and consultant discussions.
- Strong background in DG set and electrical work drawings with piping knowledge.
- Hands-on site practical experience to align drawings with execution realities.
- Proficiency in 3D drawing tools and CAD software.
- Ability to work independently and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- CAD/3D drawing proficiency (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.)
- DG set electrical system knowledge
- Piping layout design and detailing
- Site coordination practical execution understanding
- Documentation and drawing management
Experience: 5 years of experience in DG set, electrical, and piping drawings with site practical exposure.
Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
