2. Job Purpose To provide high-quality executive, analytical, and coordination support to the Chief Operating Officer, ensuring effective planning, governance, and execution across Manufacturing, Component Development, Materials Management, and Sourcing functions. The role is responsible for driving operational discipline, enabling decision-making through structured insights, and ensuring timely closure of key business priorities. 3. Key Result Areas (KRAs) Accountabilities KRA 1: Executive Office Management Accountabilities: Manage and prioritize COO's calendar aligned to business priorities Coordinate leadership meetings, plant visits, and strategic reviews Ensure preparedness of COO through structured agendas and pre-read materials Maintain confidentiality of sensitive business information Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Calendar adherence and prioritization effectiveness Quality and timeliness of meeting readiness Stakeholder satisfaction with coordination KRA 2: Governance Review Management Accountabilities: Prepare review decks, dashboards, MOMs, and action trackers Support governance across manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain reviews Track action items and ensure timely closure across functions Escalate delays, risks, and deviations KPIs: Timeliness and quality of review materials % closure of action items within agreed timelines Governance discipline in reviews KRA 3: Cross-Functional Coordination Accountabilities: Act as central interface between COO and key business functions Enable alignment across Manufacturing, CDMM, Sourcing, Finance, and Quality Facilitate information flow for decision-making Support coordination for strategic and operational initiatives KPIs: Turnaround time for cross-functional coordination Effectiveness of stakeholder alignment Reduction in follow-up cycles KRA 4: Business Analysis Decision Support Accountabilities: Collate and synthesize operational data into actionable insights Prepare executive summaries, analytical reports, and presentations Identify trends, risks, and gaps in operational performance Support cost optimization, sourcing, and manufacturing reviews KPIs: Quality and accuracy of analysis Decision support effectiveness Identification of actionable insights KRA 5: Communication Stakeholder Management Accountabilities: Draft and manage professional communication on behalf of COO Engage with senior leadership and functional heads effectively Ensure timely follow-up and closure of commitments KPIs: Communication effectiveness and clarity Responsiveness and turnaround time Leadership feedback KRA 6: Strategic Special Projects Accountabilities: Support COO-led initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain excellence Track strategic projects and ensure milestone adherence Assist in process improvements and operational transformation efforts KPIs: Timely delivery of project milestones Contribution to process improvements Quality of project tracking and reporting 4. Educational Qualifications Experience Criteria Requirement Education B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering (Mandatory) Institute Preference IIT / NIT (Mandatory) Experience 3-7 years of relevant experience Industry Preference Automotive / Manufacturing / Engineering 5. Functional Competencies Strong understanding of Manufacturing and Supply Chain processes Knowledge of Component Development and Materials Management lifecycle Proficiency in MIS, dashboards, and review preparation Ability to interpret technical and operational data 6. Leadership Behavioural Competencies High ownership and execution orientation Strong planning and organizational skills Excellent communication and interpersonal effectiveness High degree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity Ability to manage ambiguity and work under pressure Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset 7.
