Job Description

- The desktop engineer will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users in a timely and efficient manner
- This role involves troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- The desktop engineer will also be involved in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of desktop operating systems and software applications
- Responsibilities:Provide technical support and assistance to end-users regarding desktop hardware, software, and peripherals
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues related to desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain desktop operating systems (e g, Windows, macOS) and software applications (e g, Microsoft Office, antivirus)
- Set up and configure desktop computers, laptops, and other devices for new employees
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patches, and system backups
- Assist with inventory management of desktop hardware and software assets
- Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex technical issues
- Document technical procedures and solutions for knowledge sharing and training purposes
- Stay up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends related to desktop support
