Dental Assistant

Role & responsibilities

• Receive patients, make them comfortable in the dental chair and to prepare them for treatments and procedures
• Sterilize dental instruments
• Prepare the work area for patient treatment by setting out instruments and materials
• Help dentists by handing them instruments during procedures
• Coordinate with dentist throughout the case in holding suction hose and other equipment
• Instruct patients in proper dental hygiene practices
• Process x rays and complete lab tasks, under the direction of a dentist
• Schedule patient appointments
• Equipment Maintenance & Cleaning dental chair & set up as per Standards
• Cleaning
• Patient Co-ordination & follow up Repeat Calling
• Support Billing & Other Clinic activities
• Inventory Management
• Maintain friendly relationship with staff of other departments of the hospital

Preferred candidate profile

• Experience in Chair side Assistance in Dental Clinics
• Any SSC & Above qualification
• Freshers can also apply (however, preference will be from 1- 3 years)
• Go Getter, Team Player & Learning Attitude.
