Responsibilities
  • Provide L2 support for database environments including MSSQL, Oracle, MySQL, and PostgreSQL.
  • Perform database installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades.
  • Monitor database performance, health, and availability to meet SLAs.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve database-related incidents and performance issues.
  • Manage backup and recovery operations, ensuring data integrity and availability.
  • Perform database performance tuning, query optimization, and indexing strategies.
  • Handle user management, access control, and security configurations.
  • Support replication, clustering, and high availability setups.
  • Participate in disaster recovery (DR) planning and execution.
  • Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and analytics teams for issue resolution.
  • Maintain SOPs, runbooks, and documentation for database environments.
  • Support release activities, deployments, and schema changes as required.
