In the late nineties our founder Ujwal Kunte was keen to learn about the various quality norms and practices adopted by the Construction Industry across India. He and our team at Durocrete Pvt. Ltd. conducted a thorough research at various construction sites and realised the need of a quantifiable system to measure all construction quality parameters. This led to the establishment of CQRA Pvt. Ltd. in 2004. Today CQRA Pvt. Ltd is a pan India organisation with a team of 300 highly skilled and experienced professionals. Headquartered in Pune, we have operations in Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai. At CQRA Pvt. Ltd. our focus is to closely work with real estate developers to help them enhance the quality of their construction projects. Some of the services we offer are Quality Management & Advisory Services, Construction Management, Training (site staff), Pre Delivery Inspection, Independent Assessment Audits (stage wise), Cost & Materials Audit and so on. At CQRA Pvt. Ltd. we have developed a unique Quality Indexing Mechanism through our proprietary software called Benchmark. Benchmark indexes quality on a 10 point scale for all trades covering RCC, Shell, Finishes along with systems like plumbing, electrical services and HVAC. CQRA has now a strategic tie-up and equity participation from ACTS, Beirut. ACTS (Advanced Construction Technology Services) is a leading Third Party Inspection, Material Testing & Geo Engineering Company in GCC countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Oman, & parts of Africa. Till date ACTS has worked on several mega projects like Kuwait International Airport, Riyadh Metro, the 1km tall Kingdom tower, Jeddah International Airport. The partnership will synergistically bring new skills and values to the customer in the area of Quality Inspections and Quality management.
