Requirements Job Summary
Netision Technology LLP is seeking a Backend Engineer with 5 + years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining secure, scalable, and high-performance backend applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python and Node.js , RESTful API development, PostgreSQL, Microsoft Azure cloud services, and CI/CD automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python (FastAPI, Flask, or Django) and Node.js .
- Build secure, high-performance RESTful APIs and microservices.
- Design, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databases, including schema design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning.
- Integrate backend services with frontend applications and third-party APIs.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using industry best practices.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability for production environments.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve production issues efficiently.
- Deploy and maintain applications on Microsoft Azure App Services and other Azure services.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub and GitHub Actions .
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and project managers.
- Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and continuous improvement.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes .
- Exposure to Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms.
- Knowledge of Redis for caching.
- Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ , Kafka , or Azure Service Bus .
- Familiarity with MongoDB or other NoSQL databases.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale applications.
- Knowledge of automated testing frameworks and API testing tools.
- Experience mentoring junior developers and conducting technical code reviews.
