Azure DevOps Engineer (PowerShell Scripting)

We are seeking an experienced Azure DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in PowerShell scripting, Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation, and Azure Cloud Services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing enterprise DevOps solutions, automating cloud operations, and enabling secure and reliable software delivery across Azure environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Develop and optimize PowerShell scripts for infrastructure automation, deployments, and configuration management.
• Build and manage Azure cloud resources following security, scalability, and governance standards.
• Collaborate with Development, QA, and Operations teams to improve build and release processes.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Manage source code repositories, branching strategies, and release workflows using Git.
• Monitor application deployments and troubleshoot pipeline, infrastructure, and environment issues.
• Implement cloud governance, compliance, and security best practices.
• Support automation initiatives and DevOps transformation efforts.
• Continuously evaluate and implement improvements to DevOps processes and toolchains.
• Support containerized solutions and cloud-native deployments where applicable.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps Engineering.
• Strong experience with Azure DevOps Services.
• Advanced PowerShell scripting expertise.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services including:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure Storage
• Azure Networking
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform).
• Experience with Git and version control best practices.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of cloud security and governance principles.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with YAML-based Azure DevOps Pipelines.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Azure Monitor and Application Insights.
