Job Description
Role & responsibilities
Strong hands-on experience with Azure Data Platform components, including:
- Azure Data Factory (ADF) pipelines, triggers, linked services, data flows
- Azure Databricks – PySpark, Delta Lake, notebooks
- Azure Synapse Analytics – data warehouse design and optimization
- Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) – hierarchy, partitions, and access control
- Azure SQL Database / Managed Instance
- Excellent proficiency in Python, PySpark, and SQL for data transformations.
- Experience with data ingestion (batch and streaming) from multiple sources.
- Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD, and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform / ARM templates).
- Knowledge of Azure Security, IAM, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience in data lakehouse design, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data modeling.
- Understanding of cost optimization, monitoring, and logging in Azure (Monitor, Log Analytics).
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, AKS) preferred.
