About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Azure Data Engineer with strong expertise in building scalable data pipelines, designing Azure cloud-based data solutions, and enabling analytics workloads. The ideal candidate will work closely with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver enterprise-grade data platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Build and optimize ETL/ELT workflows for structured and unstructured data.
- Develop and manage Azure Databricks notebooks (PySpark/Spark).
- Implement Azure Synapse Analytics pipelines, datasets, and SQL pools.
- Manage and optimize Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS) Gen2.
- Ensure data quality, data validation, and reliability across all data flows.
- Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workloads using Azure DevOps or GitHub.
- Collaborate with business teams to understand data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot failures, and enhance performance.
- Work with Azure Functions, Logic Apps, and API integrations when required.
- Ensure security and compliance through proper access controls, encryption, and data governance standards.
Preferred Certifications (Mandatory)
- Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate
