Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Automotive BIW Design Engineer with strong expertise in Body-in-White product development for passenger vehicles.
The candidate should have hands-on experience in BIW sheet metal design, structural components, manufacturing feasibility, and CAD development.
Responsibilities
- Design and development of BIW components.
- Create 3D CAD models and engineering drawings.
- Work on sheet metal component development.
- Develop flanges, embosses, reinforcements, and joining features.
- Perform packaging studies.
- Conduct tolerance analysis and GD&T.
- Coordinate with CAE, Manufacturing, Tooling, and Vehicle Integration teams.
- Support design validation and engineering changes.
