Application Support Engineer

Role & responsibilities

• Provide application support for internal and client-facing systems
• Monitor applications, identify issues, and ensure timely resolution
• Handle incident management, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Write and optimize SQL queries (SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE)
• Support database operations including data extraction, validation, and reporting
• Coordinate with development teams for bug fixes and enhancements
• Maintain proper documentation for issues, solutions, and processes
• Ensure system performance, availability, and reliability
• Provide user support and training when required
• Work in shifts if needed to support business operations

Preferred candidate profile

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science / IT / related field
• 2–4 years of experience in Application Support / SQL Support (Freshers can apply)
• Strong knowledge of SQL and database concepts
• Good understanding of software applications and troubleshooting techniques
• Excellent Hindi speaking skills (mandatory) along with basic English communication
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Good communication and coordination skills
