WRMS (previously Weather Risk) is an agricultural & dairy risk management company. It was incubated by IIT Kanpur in 2004 with investments from SIDBI & IIT Kanpur. Over the years we have received investments & grants from UPL, ILO, and the Ford Foundation. We leverage data, technology and financial innovation to develop risk management solutions that help farmers enhance farm productivity, gain a guaranteed income, and practice sustainable farming. Over the years we have built a strong reputation for performance and reliability through our work across 22 states in India and 15 countries across the globe. We take pride in the income guarantee that we have created for over 2 million farmers through our collaboration with the Central & State Governments and renowned brands like Pepsico, WWF, World Bank and HDFC among others.
