Workday Core HCM Job Description

Job Title: Workday Core HCM Consultant / Workday HCM Functional Consultant

Job Summary:

• Responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Workday Core HCM solutions.
• Collaborate with HR, business stakeholders, and technical teams to optimize HR processes, improve employee experience, and ensure data accuracy and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain Workday Core HCM modules.
• Configure organizations, staffing models, supervisory organizations, and locations.
• Manage employee lifecycle events such as hiring, transfers, promotions, terminations, and organizational changes.
• Configure and maintain business processes (BPs).
• Configure and troubleshoot Workday security groups and role-based security.
• Support Workday integrations and Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) data loads.
• Build and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and calculated fields.
• Perform data validation, audits, and system testing.
• Support Workday releases by analyzing new features and conducting regression testing.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Workday solutions.
• Provide production support and resolve system issues.
• Prepare documentation, user guides, and deliver end-user training.
• Ensure HR data integrity and compliance with organizational policies.
