We are looking for a talented WordPress Developer with 13 years of hands-on experience in building and maintaining responsive WordPress websites. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of front-end and back-end development, theme customization, and plugin integration to deliver high-quality, user-friendly digital experiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress websites (themes, plugins, templates).
- Convert Figma / PSD / HTML designs into responsive WordPress themes.
- Implement new features and functionalities based on project requirements.
- Ensure high performance, responsiveness, and security of all websites.
- Debug and resolve technical issues, errors, and performance bottlenecks.
- Integrate third-party APIs, plugins, and tools.
- Collaborate with designers, content teams, and backend developers.
- Maintain proper version control using Git and follow coding best practices.
- Participate in Agile / Scrum ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Minimum 1 year of proven experience as a WordPress Developer.
- Proficient in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL.
- Hands-on experience with custom theme and plugin development.
- Understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and REST API.
- Familiarity with Elementor, WPBakery, ACF, or similar page builders.
- Basic knowledge of SEO best practices and website optimization, CI/CD pipelines and WordPress security hardening.
- Experience with Git, cPanel, or hosting management.
