Windows System Administrator

Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled Windows System Administrator with hands-on experience in managing Windows Server environments and supporting IT infrastructure operations. The candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills and experience with server administration, virtualization, patching, user administration, and ITIL-based support processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 environments.
• Perform server installation, configuration, upgrades, patching, and maintenance.
• Manage and troubleshoot VMware ESXi and vCenter virtualization environments.
• Handle SCCM operations including software deployment, patch management, and imaging.
• Manage Azure AD / IAM activities including user onboarding, MFA, access, and policy management.
• Configure and troubleshoot FTP/SFTP services.
• Support and troubleshoot DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, and other network-related components.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell.
• Perform Office 365 / Microsoft 365 administration including users, groups, licenses, and access.
• Monitor and support backup and disaster recovery operations.
• Troubleshoot incidents and perform root-cause analysis for infrastructure issues.
• Follow ITIL-based Incident, Problem, and Change Management processes.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and operational reports.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues within SLA.

Required Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Windows Server 2016/2019/2022.
• Good knowledge of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and DHCP.
• Experience with VMware ESXi and vCenter.
• Working knowledge of SCCM / Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager.
• Experience with Azure AD / Entra ID and IAM.
• Knowledge of PowerShell scripting and automation.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 / Office 365 administration.
• Knowledge of FTP/SFTP services.
• Understanding of TCP/IP and basic networking concepts.
• Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
• Good troubleshooting, communication, documentation, and incident-management skills.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes is preferred.
