Willis Towers Watson - Manager - Artificial Intelligence & Compliance Automation (10-12 yrs)

Summary :

The role focuses on identifying opportunities for AI-driven automation within compliance processes and collaborating with internal teams and vendors to design, deploy, and integrate AI solutions for monitoring, reporting, and audits.

Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and governance policies, monitoring AI tool performance, and recommending improvements. The position requires staying informed on emerging technologies and compliance regulations to drive continuous enhancement.

Additionally, the role involves aligning AI initiatives with organizational objectives through stakeholder collaboration and preparing documentation and training materials for compliance staff. Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis and ROI estimation for AI projects is desirable.

Role/Responsibilities :

AI Opportunity Identification :

- Analyse compliance work to identify areas for AI-driven automation and optimization.

AI Development & Deployment :

- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to design and implement AI solutions for compliance monitoring, reporting, and audit processes.

- Support integration of AI tools into existing compliance frameworks.

- Knowledge of cost-benefit analysis and ROI estimation for AI initiatives (good to have).

Sustainability & Governance :

- Ensure AI solutions comply with regulatory standards and internal governance policies.

- Monitor performance of deployed AI tools and recommend improvements.

- Monitor emerging technologies and compliance regulations to ensure continuous improvement.

Stakeholder Collaboration :

- Work with business units, IT, and data teams to align AI initiatives with organizational goals.

- Prepare documentation and training materials for compliance staff on AI-enabled processes.

Manage performance :

- Create own quarterly action plans to deliver the annual goals and objectives agreed with the CBP or line manager and report on own progress.

Manage internal relationships :

- Foster close relationships with CBPs globally, and other business support areas, including Group Legal, Group Risk and Internal Audit.

- Co-ordinate with Internal Audit and External Audit on those activities that cover compliance obligations only (during a review and in an ongoing way).

Requirements :

Experience :

- 10-12 years of experience in IT with minimum 2+ years of experience in Automation.

- Familiarity with AI platforms and tools (Microsoft Power Platform, Azure AI, OpenAI APIs).

- Understanding of data handling, automation workflows, and API integrations. Basic understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application in business processes.

- Ability to design effective prompts for generative AI tools to assist in compliance documentation, policy drafting, and risk analysis.

- Understanding of responsible AI principles and bias mitigation in compliance-related AI applications.

- Basic understanding of regulatory compliance policies and procedures.

- Experience or knowledge in applying AI in compliance (e.g., predictive analytics, anomaly detection, NLP for regulatory text analysis) (good to have).

- Ability to work under pressure to tight timelines and without direct supervision.

- Possesses a keen eye for details.

- Excellent analytical problem-solving skills.

Qualifications :

- Degree level. It is possible likely that the job holder may also have a relevant professional qualification IT, compliance, insurance, accountancy or business.

Preferred certifications :

- Microsoft Power Platform Fundamentals.

- AI-900: Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals.

- UiPath RPA Developer or equivalent.
