VMC Programmer

Setting up machine to start production.

• Feeding raw material parts to automated machine.

• Control and adjust machine settings as per production batch.

• Inspect output with precision and measuring tools periodically and ensure no rejection.

• Operate equipment safely and effectively for production processing.

• Filling up of Inspection report, route card and Production Report.

• Perform proper handing over of work before leaving machine on shift change.

• Maintain organized, clean and orderly work area.

• Maintain Tooling records.

• Troubleshoot problems during machine operation

• Cleaning of scrap and machine as well as filling of coolant.

• Handle material and tools.

• Work under the guidance of supervisor to perform duties.

• Inform unsafe operation, defective production to supervisor immediately.

• Follow all safety measures during operating machines.

• Inform supervisor for any break down, maintenance and repairs

• To co-ordinate with co-workers regarding work

• Provide progress report to supervisor

• Attend any task given from supervisor

• Filling relevant documents throughout process and maintain filing and record

• Should be able to do programming , Should possess knowledge in CAD CAM and should be experienced in handling multiaxis /3 axis, 4 axis machienery.

Essential Requirements :

• 2-3 yr experienced candidate with Diploma/ITI Fitter/CNC , VMC programming course.

Desirable Requirements :

• VMC machine programmer, Able to read and understand technical manuals and specifications.
