Job Description
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Review and analyze loan applications to determine creditworthiness of borrowers.
- Conduct thorough research on applicants' financial history, credit reports, and other relevant factors.
- Collaborate with sales teams to identify potential clients and develop strategies for acquiring new business.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and changes in US residential mortgage underwriting guidelines.
Job Requirements :
- 2-9 years of experience in US mortgage underwriting or related field.
- Strong understanding of US residential mortgage products, including conventional loans, FHA loans, VA loans, etc.
- Proficiency in analyzing complex financial data using software such as Loan Origination Systems (LOS) or similar tools.
