About the Organization

A leading global financial services organization is seeking experienced professionals for its Market Risk & P&L Control function. The role offers exposure to global trading businesses across Equities, Derivatives, Hybrid Products, and Risk Management functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce and validate Daily P&L across trading desks.
• Perform P&L attribution and provide commentary on key drivers.
• Analyze daily trading activity and investigate unexplained P&L movements.
• Interact with Front Office, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Review and certify market risk metrics including VaR, SVaR, and Stress Testing results.
• Conduct Sensitivity Analysis and investigate significant market moves.
• Monitor risk limits and perform breach analysis.
• Ensure data quality and validate risk calculations across systems.
• Perform reconciliations and maintain robust control frameworks.
• Prepare daily and weekly risk reports and management commentaries.
• Support strategic projects, system enhancements, and UAT activities.
