TRN Energy Private Limited is a subsidiary of ACB (India) Power Limited. The company was formed on November 17, 2006. On January 15, 2010, an implementation agreement was signed by the company with the Government of Chhattisgarh with regard to the establishment of 600 MW coal fired thermal power project in Chhattisgarh. TRN is operating coal based 2 x 300MW thermal power plant in Dist. Raigarh, Chhattisgarh. The supply of coal linkage under FSA was reconfirmed by CCEA in May 2017 and thereafter the same has commenced in June 2017. TRN has signed long term Power Purchase Agreement with UP Discom for supply of 390MW power.
