Trainee Aircraft Maintenance Engineer /CAT A Responsibilities

- Assistance to AME on allocation of work on aircraft, engines and systems to mechanics and supervision for compliance with laid down quality control, airworthiness and safety procedures and that job is completed within the planned ground time.
- To ensure the maintenance staff are physically and mentally fit to undertake the work and that they are not under the influence of psychoactive substances.
- To lead the inspections and checks on aircraft as per approved maintenance program. To assist in the maintenance procedures and Quality system and certification of callouts for issuance.
- Assistance in reporting of major defects, accidents and incidents in prescribed forms.
- To check that only approved spare parts and materials with proper certificates are installed or used on aircraft.
- To check usage of calibrated tools, tested equipment and current technical publications prior to start of maintenance.
- Assistance to carry out ADs and mandatory modifications.
- To ensure that all task cards, worksheets, inspection schedules maintenance records and logbooks are properly completed and certified by qualified AME.
- Certification of preflight/ postflight if approved in the technical log/flight report.
- Certification in the inspection schedule / task cards and inspection thereof in respect of aircraft, engine and systems.
- Candidate must possess a Diploma/Graduate in Aircraft Maintenance Engineering/ Aeronautical engineering.
- Candidates must have completed all modules pertaining to B1.1 B1.3 and minimum 3years of experience.
- Candidates with Valid CAT A license to also apply.
- Candidate must be technically sound possess a deep understanding of DGCA regulations and CAR-M.
- Team player with great interpersonal and communication skills.
- Committed, result oriented, with attention to detail.
