Job Description

Role Overview

Seeking an experienced Technical Architect with strong expertise in cloud-native architecture, Kubernetes, and AWS services to design and lead scalable solutions with deep experience in microservices, DevSecOps, and large-scale distributed systems

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and implement scalable, resilient architecture for telecom-grade platforms supporting high availability and real-time processing.
  • Design microservices-based solutions using Spring Boot, Kafka, and event-driven patterns.
  • Architect and manage containerized platforms using Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), including deployment strategies, scaling, and observability.
  • Lead AWS cloud adoption and optimization, leveraging services such as SQS, SNS, Lambda, API Gateway, EC2, and RDS.
  • Drive integration architecture with external telecom systems, APIs, and regulatory platforms
  • Establish and govern DevSecOps pipelines (CI/CD, security scans, automated deployments).
  • Provide guidance on performance tuning, cost optimization, logging, and monitoring (Grafana, ELK, Splunk).
  • Lead and mentor engineering teams, ensuring adherence to architecture standards and best practices.

Required Skills & Experience

  • ~1520 years of experience in software engineering and architecture roles.
  • Strong expertise in:
    • Kubernetes (EKS/AKS), Docker
    • AWS Cloud (SQS, SNS, EC2, API Gateway, IAM, CloudWatch, etc.)
    • Microservices & Event-driven architecture (Kafka, messaging systems)
  • Proficiency in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub/Azure DevOps pipelines).
  • Hands-on understanding of distributed systems, high availability, and fault tolerance.
  • Familiarity with databases: MongoDB, Redis, relational DBs.
  • Experience in identity and access management (RBAC, OAuth, Azure AD/Entra or AWS IAM).
  • Strong knowledge of monitoring, logging, and observability tools.
