- Be a hands-on technical leader, contributing to development and conducting regular code reviews.
- Participate and drive technical decision-making across architecture, tooling, and implementation approaches.
- Establish and promote consistent engineering practices, coding patterns, and standards across the team.
- Provide hands-on technical leadership on active projects, helping unblock engineers, resolve technical challenges, and keep delivery on track.
- Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance and feedback to help grow the teams capabilities.
- Partner with Engineering and Project leadership to establish clear technical guardrails, standards, and ownership across projects.
- Serve as the primary technical voice in client conversations for your project, shaping scope and technical approach with the client rather than only executing what s handed down.
- Support new business pursuits as needed, contributing technical scoping, proof-of-concept work, or estimates for prospective client engagements.
- Strong hands-on experience with React and TypeScript.
- Strong backend development experience with Node.js or Python with one of the leading databases like PostgreSQL, MySql and/or MongoDB.
- Good understanding of full-stack application architecture, API design, and databases.
- Ability to lead technical decisions, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineers.
- Experience with a cloud platform such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience using AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude, Gemini, or similar tools as part of the software development lifecycle.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to work independently on complex technical problems.
- Experience working in a client-facing or consulting environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, project/product, QA, design, and client-facing teams.
- Experience with Docker and CI/CD.
- Experience building or integrating AI/LLM-powered applications.
