Job Purpose:

Design, implement, and maintain the company's observability practices and tools.

Work closely with the Lead SRE Engineer and other departments to gather requirements and provide solutions for system reliability, availability, and performance.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies.

Monitor and optimize system performance.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain observability practices and tools.

Work closely with Lead Observability Engineer and other departments to gather requirements and provide solutions.

Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting strategies.

Develop and implement dashboards, alerts, and metrics to track system health and performance.

Monitor and optimize system performance.

Identify and resolve system-related issues.

Keep up-to-date with new technologies and industry trends.

 

Educational Qualifications:

B Tech in Computer Science or related discipline preferred.

 

Key Skills:

Strong knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch).

Experience with APM tools (e.g., Dynatrace, New Relic, Data Dog, Splunk).

Experience with Cloud monitoring services (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, GCP StackDriver).

Strong understanding of distributed systems and containerization technologies (e.g., Kubernetes).

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Total 2-5 years of experience.
