Talend Developer

Role & responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and deploy ETL/Data Integration solutions using Talend Open Studio or Talend Data Management Platform.
• Develop and maintain Talend Jobs, workflows, routines, and reusable components.
• Perform data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) activities from multiple source systems.
• Integrate data across databases, APIs, flat files, ERP, CRM, and cloud platforms.
• Troubleshoot and optimize Talend jobs for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Implement data quality, validation, and error-handling mechanisms.
• Participate in data migration and data warehousing initiatives.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements.
• Ensure compliance with data governance, security, and best practices.
• Support production deployments, incident resolution, and performance tuning.

Preferred candidate profile

• Strong hands-on experience with Talend ETL/Talend Data Integration.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as:
• Oracle
• SQL Server
• PostgreSQL
• MySQL
• Experience in data warehousing concepts and ETL methodologies.
• Knowledge of Talend components, contexts, routines, job orchestration, and scheduling.
• Experience with Unix/Linux shell scripting.
• Understanding of data modeling concepts.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with version control tools such as Git.
