Stoic Studio was founded in 2012 by three former BioWare developers: Alex Thomas, Arnie Jorgensen, and John Watson. They embarked on a mission to create a unique and engaging gaming experience, drawing inspiration from their shared love of tactical RPGs and Norse mythology. Their debut title, The Banner Saga, was successfully funded through Kickstarter and quickly gained recognition for its innovative gameplay and stunning visuals.
